Cross-border freight between Canada & the USA — 24/7 dispatch

Safety & compliance

Zero Out-of-Service.
Zero Crashes.

9 roadside inspections, every single one passed — and a clean crash record. That is our public FMCSA record as of August 2026 — not a claim, a lookup. A clean carrier profile is what keeps insurance affordable, doors open at good shippers, and trucks out of the yard.

The program

What Our Safety Team Handles

Everything below is managed by people on staff, in-house, with your file open in front of them — and included for owner operators on our authority.

Carrier profile & USDOT file

Continuous abstract monitoring, event review, DataQs challenges on inaccurate records, and carrier profile upkeep.

ELD & hours of service

Daily log audits, unassigned driving time cleanup, form-and-manner correction, and a phone call before a violation happens.

Drug & alcohol program

Consortium enrolment, pre-employment, random, post-accident and reasonable-suspicion testing, plus full Clearinghouse reporting.

IFTA & IRP

Quarterly IFTA returns filed on time with mileage and fuel reconciliation, plus IRP plate registration and renewals.

Audit preparation & representation

New-entrant safety audits, provincial facility audits and FMCSA compliance reviews — prepared, documented and attended with you.

Maintenance & inspection tracking

Annual inspections, preventive maintenance scheduling, defect reporting and repair record retention.

Driver qualification files

Abstracts, medicals, licence verification, road tests and reference checks — complete and current for every driver.

Permits & oversize

Oversize and overweight permits, route surveys and jurisdiction-specific requirements arranged ahead of dispatch.

Cross-border security programs

CTPAT and PIP documentation and readiness so your loads move through FAST lanes rather than secondary inspection.

Why it pays

A Clean Record Is Worth
More Than a Good Rate

Owner operators tend to focus on rate per mile, which is fair — until a compliance problem costs a multiple of what a few extra cents ever earned.

  • Lower insurance premiums

Insurers price directly off carrier profile and CSA scores. A clean file is the single biggest lever on your fixed costs.

  • Access to better freight

Large shippers and CTPAT-certified consignees screen carrier safety ratings before they ever offer you a load.

  • Fewer roadside delays

Carriers with good inspection histories get waved through more often and spend less time at the scale.

  • No out-of-service surprises

An OOS order means an empty trailer, a missed appointment and a customer you may not get back.

Safety FAQ

Common Questions

Is safety and compliance included, or is it an add-on?

It is included for every owner operator running under our authority, and available as a standalone service for carriers with their own authority. There is no separate compliance fee for our leased operators.

What is your safety record?

Our public FMCSA record shows 9 US roadside inspections over the trailing 24 months with zero out-of-service orders and zero reportable crashes. For comparison, the national average puts 22.26 per cent of vehicles and 6.67 per cent of drivers out of service. You can verify this yourself at safer.fmcsa.dot.gov under USDOT 4224347.

What is a carrier profile and why does it matter?

Your provincial carrier profile — the Alberta Carrier Profile here, CVOR in Ontario — is the record of your on-road performance: collisions, convictions and inspection results. A rising violation rate triggers audits, interventions and eventually sanctions on your Safety Fitness Certificate, and insurers price directly off it. We monitor the abstract, review every event, and contest what is contestable.

Do you handle US FMCSA compliance too?

Yes. We manage our USDOT number, MCS-150 biennial updates, CSA BASIC scores, the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, driver qualification files and DataQs challenges on inaccurate inspection reports.

What happens if I get audited?

We prepare and represent your file. That means assembling driver qualification files, hours-of-service records, maintenance and inspection history, and drug and alcohol testing documentation, then walking through the audit with the officer alongside you.

How does ELD and hours-of-service monitoring work?

We review logs continuously and flag issues the same day — form and manner errors, unassigned driving time, approaching HOS limits. You get a call before a violation happens, not a fine afterwards.

Do you enrol drivers in a drug and alcohol testing consortium?

Yes. We handle consortium enrolment, pre-employment and random selection testing, post-accident and reasonable-suspicion testing, and all Clearinghouse queries and reporting.

Can you help a brand-new authority get compliant?

That is one of the most common reasons carriers call us. We set up your safety program from zero — policies, driver files, maintenance schedules, log procedures and your new-entrant safety audit preparation.

Ready to move freight — or move your truck to a better dispatcher?

Tell us what you haul and where. You'll hear back from a real dispatcher, usually within the hour.
